Auto Expo 2010: GM to launch Chevrolet e-Spark

GM showcased the electric version of the little Spark, christened the e-Spark. The car will roll out in October and will be priced at around Rs. 7 lakh.

The e-Spark would be produced in collaboration with Reva electric car company. Reva would provide battery technology for the e-Spark.

GM is looking at manufacturing 5,000 units of the e-Spark initially. The car will be produced at the Telegaon facility in Maharashtra.
